What a great work. Thank you.
I’m looking for info on how to find the odd spellings e.g. friend, again etc. with short e sound.
I couldn’t find anything like that on the “sounds like” list. If its not on your site, do you have any ideas that might help me find similarly spelled words? I tried google and it didn’t find much. Not sure what to do next.
I’m working creating a spelling game that focuses on patterns of spelling and hoping to find 3-4 words with the same irregular patterns. Thanks for any ideas?
Hi Karina, sorry for the slow reply, I’ve been snowed under. Try this link for all the spellings of the sound “e” as in red, head, friend, again, any etc http://www.spelfabet.com.au/spelling-lists/sorted-by-sound/e/. All the best, Alison
